Refunds and Liability

Funds paid for genealogical services can be refunded in full to the client before the commencement of work. In cases where we incur bank commission fees to process the transfer, the money will be refunded minus the cost of those fees (documented with a copy of the receipt provided to the client).

In the event of partial service delivery, funds paid as an advance may be partially refunded, taking into account the volume of work completed, expenses incurred during execution, and money transfer fees.

Funds cannot be refunded after services have been fully rendered.

Prepayment for Pedigree Research Services

This payment covers researcher fees for analyzing and verifying initial information provided by the client, identifying available sources and genealogical prospects, developing a research strategy, and conducting the search for genealogical data, including compensation for expedition costs and archive fees. If such work has been performed and documented, this payment attains the status of a non-refundable deposit, regardless of whether the final genealogical search yields a positive or negative result.

Liability

The period of liability to the client is 3 (three) calendar years from the date of the research completion. If errors are discovered within this period, we pledge to correct them free of charge.

Upon completion of pedigree research services, if errors are identified, the cost of correcting them shall not exceed half of the total service fee paid.
